REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
Registrations take place throughout the year at the School’s office.
MEETING WITH THE PARENTS
The Head must meet all the parents himself/herself, they must not be referred to the Office Assistant or the any other member of the staff. The Head gives brief introduction of Spirit International School, asks about the child’s age and prospective date of admission. There registration of the child takes place.
CHILD’S REGISTRATION AND ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Parents wishing to admit a child should first register him/her for an admission test by completing the prescribed form (Admission form) at the school office and receiving an appointment card for the test and interview. The parents can register their child at any time of the year. The following aspects govern the procedure:
1. Registration Fee
A non-refundable fee according to the fee structure is payable by the parents at the time of registration. The registration receipt is prepared in duplicate the original receipt signed by the Head of the School is issued the parents, a copy is kept in the receipt book for school’s record.
The Receipt books are pre-printed. They are pre-numbered and in duplicate form. One book should be used at a time. The sequence of numbers should be maintained. They are to be properly stacked under lock & key.
2. Admission Form
The parents fill in an admission form at the school. All information concerning the application given on the admission form should be correct. It will not be possible to modify it later. The parents must read the clauses written at the back of the admission form and must sign it. The Head must check that the form is complete in all respects. If the parents cannot read or understand the clauses, then the Head must translate all the clauses and explain them to the parents and get their signatures and must note down that the clauses have been explained to them.
3. Age Groups
Following are the Age Groups that determine the class of the child.

4. Date of Birth Assessment
The class for which a child will be trusted is determined by his/her age on 31st July of the year in which admission is sought, for the academic year starting in August, and on 28th February for the academic session starting in March/April.
5. Appointment Card
An appointment card is issued to the parents mentioning the date and time of the interview and assessment of the child. The parents are given an envelope containing the following.

III. Prospectus Charges Cash Receipt (if any)
IV. News-letter (if any)
V. Admission Formalities Brochure
VI. Fee Structure Slip of relevant class (See Specimen Below)

6. REGISTRATION REGISTER
The name of the student is centered in the Registration Register (See specimen). All the columns are to be filled in. The school has to buy a plain register from the market and have the columns drawn/written on it.
